3. A loaf of bread emits half a kilo of CO2
4. A quarter of all McDonald's Filet-o-fish sandwiches are sold during Lent.
5. Scientists can grow human cells on apples
6. Termites bang their heads to mimic ant footsteps.
7. People who have sex are happier due to the higher levels of "affectionate touch".
8. Rihanna travels with a case containing her own personal supply of spices.
9. A public swimming pool typically contains 75 litres of urine.
10. Even school goldfish get a flaming Viking boat burial in Orkney.

Several of you have public service advertisements. For everyone, take a look at a recent Danish commercial. You'll need your earbuds.

Now to your projects...nothing new, but here it is again.
All work is due Wednesday. Everyone has an individual project; however, you may include anyone in your advertising project. In fact, you need not even be in it!
So what exactly is due at the BEGINNING OF CLASS ON WEDNESDAY?
Three written items (or 2 or 1, if you have already sent the material along. Check parent connect, as the grades are up-to-date. I'm adding the work, as I receive / grade it).
1. Your script (think literary elements: characters, dialogue, setting.)
2. A 200 word analysis of your commercial. What are you selling? To whom are you marketing? What persuasive and production techniques, slogans and jingles are there and why? Where do these actually show up within your commercial? You must provide evidence.
3. A 200 word reflection. What obstacles occurred? Human? technological? How could you have improved on the outcome? What worked to your satisfaction?
Again, all of this is due at the start of class on WEDNESDAY. Send along please.
We will immediately begin sharing out the commercials.
Note that grades for the 3rd quarter close at 2:30 on Friday.
