Monday, January 23 satirical cartoons from around the world

Dr. Seuss 1941

Good day to you all. These last three days have provided us with a satirical feast. As well, this is the last day of the second quarter. Your senior year is half gone.

Many of you are missing nothing; everything is in and up to date. However, some of you have gaps, as in large enough for a battle cruiser to run through.

So.. this is what is happening today. For those of you who might wish to find your missing work and share it with me, please take the time to do so. I'll check in with you.

For others, take a look at two contemporary satirists' perspectives on Friday's inauguration. Note how their style, and humor:parody, burlesque, exaggeration, juxtaposition, comparison and double entendre. This is followed by a collection of international cartoons.  No writing...enjoy and reflect.
